He has been getting lit up this month (especially his first start...@TEX 2.0 innings pitched and 6 earned runs), but not today @NYY after 5 innings pitched...I'm not going to say it!
Well, after 5.1 innings, The Yanks finally got a hit (two singles) off B. Woo. But with the M's bats showing up early this game, he will still get his first MLB W!

He pretty much only got roughed up in that first outing vs Texas. Over his last 3 starts he has 21 IP, 2.3 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, 21K, 9H, 4BB, 4ER.
I’ll take that from a #5 starter all day! -

Hopefully SDS can update his card stats. His fastball velocity on savant is 95.5 on the two seam and 95.4 on the 4 seam, compared to 92 and 92 in the game.

I’ll take that from a #5 starter all day!True! At first when I looked at the game stats, I thought the Rangers game was his last game and later figured that I was wrong and edited my post to make his first start. I agree that this is very much welcome in the #5 SP slot and I really like all of our young SPs as well as the pitchers in the 'pen. We need to get the bats to be more consistent this season and get our money's worth out of all of our off-season acquisitions!
