Over a 162 game span from 6/18/86 - 7/10/87 Eric Davis hit .307/.405/.629 while launching 49 HRs and swiping 93 bases. He is the only player in MLB history to rack up those numbers in a 162 game stretch. He reached the 30-30 club in fewer games than anyone, ever.

World Champion, 2X AS, and multiple GG and SS awards. Most impressively, however, was Eric Davis winning the Roberto Clemente Award in '97 while fighting colon cancer. He did not quit. In '98, Davis had one of his best statistical seasons of his career, while playing for the Orioles.
