Just played an Event game and every single one of my opponent's players were Incognito cards.
Now I don't mind them using the "shiny new toys". But when I'm hitting, or pitching, against someone; I like to know whom I'm facing. I don't want to face Titz McGee, Dudley Dooright, Richard Cranium, or even Seymour Butts.
Especially playing online. That being said; I'm done with online play for the year. I'll continue to play vs the CPU; as I have to much time, and money, invested into this game to just walk away.
But if this game doesn't revert back to a baseball game and not a cartoon; this will be my last season.
Next thing you know they'll end up putting trap door and springboards on the field.
Such a shame that this title doesn't have any competition.

I feel like people don't understand what the word "incognito" means. As much as i dislike these "shiny new toys", im gonna play the game anyway and see what happens in season 3.

The time you waste posting in the forums all day every day, you could have already written down some names on a piece of paper and moved on.

I don’t care for the cards much either but I doubt your opponents are using them as a shiny new toy. They’re trying to complete the program so they can get back to the cards they enjoy. That’s what I’m using them for.

No offense but I’m assuming you’re a baseball fan. Do you really need to see what their names are to know who they are? I can’t remember the last time I had to refer to the name in the box score to know who is up. Just look at the card.
More to the point, I didn’t even notice that they had changed it until I read these posts. If this really ruins it for you, that’s like saying the hot girl you were with was ruined because she was wearing blue and not yellow:

In my most recent RS game, between innings, the ticker would say "Coming up to bat, , , ". You guessed it. My entire team is Incognito (for the TA2 points). Ugh.

No one has a problem with nicknames…it’s the execution of this that’s the problem.
The players don’t have names on their jersey. Certain names show up as BLANK on the scoreboard and in-game graphics.
Just use the name of the player and put the nickname on the card art. K.I.S.S.!
The way they’ve executed it is just awful.

Why is it always that someone who disagrees is a shill? Some of you guys act like SDS is an ex who cheated on you with your dad. They are nicknames. If that is really what’s bothering you in this life, congrats…you’re doin alright.
That said- who ever thought of Kestdaddy as a nickname is either hilarious or really dumb. I can’t decide.

I could care less about nicknames- that has no bearing on gameplay and things that have no impact on gameplay means nothing to me

Dude don’t listen to him. He’s a complainer same with the OP. To be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same guy on 2 accounts. They are always in each others posts agreeing with the complaining the other is doing.
