Saying Goodbye to Set 1 Players

I know that many of you have misgivings about Set 1 players being ineligible for most of the game modes when the next season starts, but I'm trying to summon my dime-store Buddhism and learn to let that s**t go... As I play, I'm starting to wean myself off of Set 1 players and slowly replace them with Set 2, imagining that it's much like being an A's fan looking at the impending free agency of my favorite players, while at the same time finding it somewhat strange that I've developed such attachments to players in a video game.
Curious as to who you all are leaning toward as your WildCard when the time comes... and to whom, in particular, you'll find it difficult to say goodbye.
It hurts my heart a little to have to choose between Ozzie (who's turned out to be one of my best hitters in this bizarro world), Torii Hunter and his steady RF play that has anchored my Biscuits, and dark horse CF Tommy Edman, who has somehow managed--despite his 65 power from the left side--an ISO over .300 and an HR every 10 ABs in RS.
Who will you miss the most?

FS Corbin Carroll is my ride or die.

Charisma devers was probably my best hitter in set 1, he just got “officially” replaced by frank thomas. It was a big hurt (ha) to replace him.

99 JT or 99 Turner will prob be my wildcard. Prob JT

Charisma Edman. Once I got him to P5 he’s been indispensable off the bench

Charisma KeBryan Hayes. He has a quick swing, great defense, and with the Betts' Captain, his Contact and Clutch receives a nice boost.

50K stubs is more reasonable but I like the way you think!

Lindor for sure. Chipper is just too good not to be the wild card.

why? If they did do this it would be an option not a requirement, you wouldn’t have to do it if you didn’t want to.

This is probably the first MLB the Show that I am glad I am from Europe because the latency here pretty much prohibits playing online. I don't have to care about sets as I can't play ranked anyways, yay I guess.

Why does everyone act like you can't switch up your wildcard spot? You can use 1 guy for 1 game and then someone else for the next...

Im assuming most of the big-name players from set 1 will get better cards in set 3 so Ill probably use chipper mostly for my wild card because I cant imagine they could give him a better card.

It’s almost like the cards will disappear except the one that’s chosen.

Chipper is going to be in a lot of lineups still. Most likely mine too, but I’ll be flexible depending on what cards come in set 3. Will be tough to give up Pedro, Trea, and JT.

Chipper, but Char McNeil has been too good, plus he's my favorite Met.
