Any pitching tips for the worst player in the game

I've been playing since 17 and know I'm garbage at this game, but I don't remember a time where my pitching has been this bad online. This game has a problem with control and the likes, however there comes a point where you can't blame this game's bad pitching mechanics for why you're so bad at pitching. None of my relievers have ERA's below 4, I routinely give up grand slams and walks (try an average of 20+ pitches in the 1st), and in my last events game I walked the first 7 batters without even trying to, and then gave up a grand slam. Sorry if this post is just one long rant about how bad I'm playing, par the course of this fourm, just asking for any and all pitching tips because of how bad I am at this game

Yeah throw more balls, but they have look good. I find myself trying to challenge too many hitters when i got them 0-2 count. Also if they cant lay off a certain pitch out the zone exploit it. Why throw a guy a pitch in the zone when he will swing at a curve in the dirt everytime. Mix pitches well. Up down outside inside and never down the middle. And watch tips videos on YouTube while youre playing mostly the 1s with the highest view count.

Im usually pretty good at pitching but this year im absolutely horrible. I throw a pitch well within the strike zone with perfect release (i use meter) yet the ball either moves to the middle of the plate or drifts off the plate for a ball. I just dont understand.

I use meter as well, a tip when pitching what has help me keep the ball close to my selected location is if youre throwing to red at the end of red count from 1 to 2 to should always be very close if not good release, when going to the beginning of the yellow count start your count as the meter start 2 at yellow 3 athe end of the meter then 4 on the white line. Idk if you get what im saying but basically just count seconds on the meter. Works with guys who have a wind up its a little tougher from the stretch. That has helped me alot

I think it’s deliberate to prevent lag / stuttering and is seen by the fielding team user only, so the batting user sees it as a regular speed pitch.

Doesn’t really matter what you do in terms of pitching. The ball will not go where you’re aiming it and if your opponent just keeps swinging consistently early at everything they’ll eventually be gifted an early home run or two. Pitching is no longer a skill in the show, unfortunately. I’ve started just throwing it over the plate, because if you try to put it on the black you’ll throw it all over the place. FS Reyes is absolutely comical for me, he makes Nolan Ryan look like a sharpshooter in terms of accuracy.

I'm starting to think control stat actually matters this year. I've got 99 Kubler and 88 Reyes. There is a huge different in control when you get a perfect meter. I'll still throw them down the middle with Reyes but not much with Kubler.
