I've excepted I won't get every card this year due to sds being greedy and listening to the 1% of players. Sad to see this game go this way. I stopped playing madden because of the money grab. Might have to do the same if things get worse

I thought maybe you’d play because you liked baseball. Cards being the primary reason seems unusual.
It’s the classic iOS game set up nowadays. Most of just like playing for something. If it’s just for fun why did they need to make these cards non sellable so the WS and 12-0 crowd get more stubs. Are they not having fun?
I get what he’s saying. He’s saying he wants to buy the cards off the players who are good and sell them because he can’t go 12-0. He can always do what everyone else says in here and get better.
Where did I say that? I said that I would probably sell the card to get stubs to finish the LS Collection. Why not? Why would I want a Set 2 card, that can only be used part of the year, when I could get stubs towards 2-3 Core cards that I can use year round?

If you're going to start making these Ranked and BR rewards non-sellable; at least make them Core cards.
Since I'll never make 12-0 and it usually costs me 50-60K in entry fees to make it to 100pya; I have no interest in playing BR.
I'd rather save my stubs.
The exact reason you’re describing is the exact reason why those rewards are non sellable. The game wants to give people an incentive to go 12-0. The game wants you to become a good player and by making the program reward non sellable it rewards those who put in the effort to be great at the game with a sellable version of the same reward that you can’t sell. It also stops market inflation. So all I can say to you is work on going 12-0 rather than settling for program completion. And yes I do realize some people will never achieve that goal and all I can say to that is keep trying maybe one day you luck into it. By the way I have never gone 12-0 either. Not because I’m not capable of it but because I have too much of a temper and rage when I perceive that I’m being screwed by RNG so I just don’t play it anymore. I am 100% capable of doing it if I put my mind to it.
So getting BR card (last one still selling for like 130k) and a 90 overall card that most are over 100k isn't enough for flawless? Really? The mind set of society blows my mind. RS I can understand because the reward was down to 30k for a lot of grinding. BR should be sellable. Most people that do the program will need 10+ hours to do it including myself who is a WS player. I played for 2 hours last night and at a whole 9 points. That Kinsler card is [censored] terrible.

Ah there it is...there it is. The ol #GetGud. It was bound to be said. Hey playing online is so toxic but I have still done the programs to either get a card I want or to sell it and then.....get a card I want. Thank goodness for Custom Leagues. Most are set up to ban toxic players. I have a fun time winning there.

Custom leagues are great. Seems like those are getting broke with each update. My sentence was he can do what everyone else says. I wasn’t telling him that. I’d never tell anyone that because I can’t hit to save my life.

I’ve read through this and multiple other threads and I see good arguments from both sides. Probably nobody will care what I think but here’s my 2 cents.
If you go back 3 years ago, there were no programs for RS/BR. Only way to get these special cards were to make it to WS and go 12-0.
In my honest opinion, the way they just made set 2 is how it should’ve been implanted in the first place when they introduced programs.
Lets not kid ourselves, “programs” are a handout. If you’re gonna be handed out a special card for participating, it shouldn’t be worth as much as the one who earned his way to WS or 12-0 in BR. It’s a great way to encourage those who can’t make it or don’t have the time to get what was an unattainable before without having to spend 300-400K stubs.
They should just have stub vouchers for going 12-0/making world series. Gatekeeping the cards is dumb as hell. BR exploded in popularity when the program was added. If they implemented it from the start 3 years ago it would have been different. Taking things away from players is bad. I didn't play BR before the programs and I'm not doing so now. The number of players that feel the same as me I can almost guarantee is much higher than the 40 players total that wanted this.

Because the 12-0 guy gets it? So you’re telling me that your equal to that player? You see that’s the difference between equity and equality. You want to something for nothing while the other person earned his reward even though you are given the same opportunities as the 12-0 player. This is the scourge of socialism. Make everyone believe they are the same even when merit proves otherwise.

That's not how blocking works on here. If I blocked you, you would still see me posts. I wouldn't see anything you posted unless someone quoted it. It's been that way for years.
