Saw this nugget yesterday. No NL team in the past 4 full seasons has won the NL Pennant with a winning record 1/4th (the spot we are now) into the season.

    Phillies 18-22
    Braves 19-21
    Nationals 16-24
    Dodgers 16-24

With that being said. Do you think this will continue? Right now these are some teams in the NL with a losing record that I think wouldnt surprise anyone if they won.

    Padres 19-22
    Cardinals 15-25
    Mets 20-21

Or do you think the trend will end?

That is interesting. From those 3 I can see the Padres winning the pennant most.

I don't understand how you put the records of those teams up top. They look like they have a losing record ATM. Maybe edit?

He’s going back in time and saying the Dodgers had a losing record 1/4th of the way into 2018 but made the World Series. Same with the Nationals in 2019, the Braves in 2021 and Phillies in 2022.

Not a problem. That’s what we are here for. To help one another out. And apparently to complain about everything we don’t like. Lol.

I like that brother - good on ya! There truly are some great people on here that (trust me, it’s a close shave) make it worth putting up with the other. I’ve been helped an incredible amount

The interesting stat that I love the most so far is that 3 of the top 4 teams as far as payroll is concerned all have losing records at this point. So many fans complained when their teams did not spend like The Mets, Padres or Phillies. But, at least at this stage, those teams are just as many games back in their division as The Cardinals are in theirs, and the Cardinals still have the worst record in the league.
