I have enough right now to either complete the Rangers (just need DeGrom) with about 50K to spare.
Or I can buy whom I need to finish the Cards (Goldschmidt and Arenado plus others) which would probably deplete my bank.
Finishing the Cards finishes the NL Central gives me Stan and also gives me Honus.
Finishing Texas just gets me Kinsler.
If it matters, I'll still need to finish the Angles (need Trout AND Ohtani plus others) to finish the AL West.
And I need Betts, Will Smith, Freeman, and others to finish the Dodgers.
Every other team is finished.
I could sell off some investments .sitting on and maybe come up with another 150-180K.
What's my best route here?

What's that have to do with completing collections? I had some lucky pulls and sold off most of what I warned unless it was associated with the LS collection?
-
If it were me, I’d finish the Cards. You get more cards (no pun intended). And the Dodgers collection is cheaper than the angels.

Always leave yourself with a flipping budget.

Yeah. Like I stated; I can sell off some of the investments I'm sitting on and probably fo both the Rangers and the Cards. But then I would have to reinvest in those players later.
Plus I think a stub sale is incoming soon. Meaning some of these players may jump a little.
Hmmmm, more and more I'm leaning towards selling of some of my investments and completing both the Cards and Rangers.
Unless I could get enough to complete the Angels and Rangers so I can get Wagner.

It’s unlikely DeGrom pitches much this year, so there is essentially 0% chance he drops below 90. If goldy has a dry spell, he may drop to the high 80s. Just from that perspective, DeGrom will probably stay roughly the same in price (relative to variations in the market), but the cards could be cheaper at some point.
(Before anyone gets mad about my deGrom prediction — I am a rangers season ticket holder. I have paid for the right to be pessimistic)

Actually, I think I may sell off my investments I'm sitting on right now. That will give me close to 400K. Then I'm buying LS Ohtani and Trout. Before I buy anyone else.
The next update is June 2nd. Which is going to be the Friday after Memorial Day weekend. I want to get Trout and Ohtani before Memorial Day weekend; because I have a feeling that's when we'll have our first stub sale.

With the degrom card aside, which I am hunting myself, at least the Rangers are legit this year and will give u some enjoyment being a ticket holder. I am in Aledo and looked at tix to go see the Red Sox, and man are they expensive. Good year to be a season tix holder for the Rangers

With there being a new and better version of both Degrom and Kinsler added to the game I'd go with the Cardinals. Plus it gets you closer to Sammy who I'd prefer over Mcguire.

And you're a White Sox fan, and have a right to be pessimistic. At least you have the Diamondbacks...

He is most definitely on the all injury team.
Prior, Strasburg, Syndagaard, Nomar etc. great players who can’t stay on the field.
How cool is the stadium though?

Thank goodness for the diamondbacks. I don’t get to say that very often. The Sox are so embarrassing this year. They need to tear that whole team (and organization) down to the studs and rebuild. Just a disaster all around.

Not to be too much of a contrarian, but I actually don’t love the new stadium all that much. I don’t care for domes just in general. The air conditioning is nice, but it just feels very soulless. Kind of like they’re playing in an industrial factory from an 80s glam rock video. I definitely prefer their last stadium.

If you’re in a premium section, New > TB@A.
If you’re in a “regular” section, TB@A > New. -
