Machado, Anderson and Chisholm all freaked out and got tossed over the last 7 days for various reasons. All of them appeared to be the typical entitled pro athlete that thought that somehow, they can do whatever they want with zero consequences.
Glad to see them all get the ejections they deserved.
Austin Barnes was ejected yesterday, why was he not lumped into this post?

Young exciting player trying to sell the game to younger audiences, when this decision was made (before he got hurt) was on pace for 30ish homeruns 25ish steals, OPS+ of 139 when he got hurt. Pretty simple decision really, could have been JRod too but when the decision was made I don’t think anyone knew Chisholm would get hurt and miss the rest of the year.

If you look at past cover athletes they all have achieved something that baseball fans can point to. None of them were there for potential or what if he didn't get hurt stat lines. Jazz didn't earn this recognition. Nobody buys this game based on who is on the cover so marketability is not a valid reason either.

ok let me rephrase - its morning pre-coffee - he looks annoying on the front cover artwork - i bet he is annoying to hang out with in real life - and these ejections are fully in order - i hate seeing machado play the way he does - such a punk - i hope this adds some clarity to the initial blast off
