Seemed crazy that Ohtani was last year's cover athlete, but you couldn't play him as the two-way player that he is!

Has this been corrected for MLB The Show 23?

Yes, you can now use his cards in your rotation and at DH simultaneously

You can use 99 Ohtani 2 ways. Pulled him day 1 of early release and he's been my DH and SP since.

The 97 WBAC CP version you cannot play as two ways since he doesn't have secondary positions. The 99 WBC MVP SP and the 95 LS versions you can since he has secondary positions. However, apparently in BR he cannot be played as two way with any version.
