NL MVPs gone bad….
-
Of the 3 former NL MVPs whose careers started out strong and then they either flopped or trailed off big time, which has the best chance to rebound?
Christian Yelich
Cody Bellinger
Kris Bryant -
None of the above.

Kris Bryant. I don’t have any numbers or hood logic behind it, the other 2 just look completely shot. Bryant might not get back to his offensive numbers but his versatility in the field could keep him around
-
Yelich is done. Never been the same since his injury. Bellinger hasn’t been the same since shoulder surgery. Bryant at least plays in Colorado lol.

Same for Bellinger though

Maybe yeli will get traded to Colorado so they can all play together lol

Hard to say. Bellinger gets a change of scenery(which could help him alot), Bryant plays for the Rockies. Yelich has fallen off big since 2018/19 but he's still been quite a bit better than Bellinger at the plate. I think the removal of the shift helps the lefties more than Bryant. I think this season Bellinger will have the biggest improvement but only because his numbers were worse to begin with.

Well technically both terms apply. Cody is finished. Cubs blew 17 million on a defensive replacement/pinch runner.
