Finally got a PS5 (under $300) and 4k monitor (under 500) *update*

Total 298. Anybody do better than that? I traded in my ps4 pro.
Funny thing, I walked in gamestop early because I was in the area, guy said he has plenty of PS5's (digital). I come back few hours later with my ps4 and he hangs up the phone and said he just sold his last ps5 digital. I said you told me you had plenty, so he ended up selling it to me because I was there and he's not supposed to hold them.
So should I get a 4k monitor? Can anyone recommend a good budget one? Around 27inch?

Yes, get a 4K. I have the Gigabyte M27Q and it's awesome on that. I can imagine how much better it is in 4K.

For this game it is a minor improvement

Games are being made with 4k/40 fps as a middle ground between 4k+lighting stuff/30 fps and 1080p/60 fps. It's a great thing, and you need a 4k monitor and hdmi 2.1 to get it. I can't bear 30 fps, but 40 works for me and the visual upgrade is major. If you have a ps5, invest in a good monitor.

Looks like a good 4k monitor is going to be more expensive than the PS5. Thats crazy. Going to wait for a good deal. Thanks for the responses.

Got the gigabyte m28u 4k 144hz monitor. This thing is a beast. Got it on sale for $499. It's pricey but I'm upgrading from a BenQ RL 2755 that I bought in 2015. Can't wait to play 23 in 4k.

I bought my PS5 off of StockX two years ago, so technically I'm getting the M28u for less than the PS5

I bought my PS5 off of StockX two years ago, so technically I'm getting the M28u for less than the PS5
I have a Gigabyte M32U and previously had a BenQ. Its almost night and day. I added a set of speakers to the Gig and the sound is awesome too.
