Will it happen? Very unlikely due to rights. I think he deserves a cover since this game was being produced while he was in his prime and earning three MVPs and yet he never made the cover.
No Cardinal has ever been on the cover but then again neither has any player from 16 other teams, including many who have also had deserving players.

The day before this post, they said the voters chose Julio. Maybe some late votes came in? I would love to see Pujols on the cover!!!
