Can we finally get the Astrodome?

In terms of truly leading the way and having a lasting impact, no other stadium will ever be close to the Astrodome. It gave us the first domed stadium and of course Astroturf.
It is a crime that this stadium hasn't ever been in the game.
SDS was targeting 22 to have domed stadiums so I don't see a reason why they wouldn't be in 23

It’s a cookie cutter w/ a roof.
Just play at Shea and pretend.
(And I say that as someone who attended multiple games at the 8th wonder)
-
The only meaningful stadiums they’re really missing are Tiger, Ebbets, and (maybe) pre-70s Yankee.
-
Need the football field for the A’s

Candlestick is pretty meaningful.....to me anyway:)

Still want the old Fenway classic- pre-monster seats and scoreboard advertisements.
-
would love to see more classic stadiums - Comiskey, Fulton County, Candlestick plus the ones mentioned above.

The Astrodome was an absolute dump.
Crappy turf, no personality.
Part of the cookie-cutter, multipurpose stadiums they built in the 70's-- Riverfront Stadium, The Vet, Pittsburgh, Candlestick, Fulton County.
With all due respect, I can think of some better ones. How about Detroit's old stadium?
Saw many players hit it out of that place. -

Saw many players hit it out of that place. How can it be cookie-cutter when no other domed stadium existed at the time? Also, there was no such thing as turf until the Astrodome. So, yeah, the 1st of anything might be a little rough around the edges.

It was still cool in Triple Play Baseball. -

Just because it was the first doesn't mean it was good.
Have you seen video of that place?
Hideously ugly.
Standard dimensions.
Would you rather have The Astrodome (aka Tampa), or Tigers Stadium?
The Astrodome, the Vet, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, et al were torn down for a reason. They were ugly, fan unfriendly, cookie-cutter, multipurpose abominations.
Thankfully Camden Yards came around and every other team followed suit by building baseball stadiums.
I would take Candlestick Park over the Astrodome (old guys back me up on that one) -

I would take Candlestick Park over the Astrodome (old guys back me up on that one)I am an old man (41) who lives in Austin. I went to the Astrodome many times and always enjoyed it. The outside might not have had a lot character, but the inside had plenty of charm to it.

I’m surprised the Kingdome isn’t in the game, especially with the way SDS has been promoting Griffey in recent years. As someone who attended many games in that dump, I have a great amount of nostalgia for it. It was our dump!

More than anything we need the ability to put actual bullpens in stadium creations. The off-the-foul-line bullpens are archaic. Come on now.

Does Candlestick come with the wind?

Does Candlestick come with the wind?
Absolutely!
That place was literally the most miserable stadium in MLB history. I remember the players talking about how insanely cold it was. The wind was like Wrigley when it was blowing out.
Remember when the fog would role in? -
