Card prices

My second year and my memory could be fading…..
Card prices seem really high for this late in the cycle. Is this true? Or am I misremembering?
What will it take to get these cards more “reasonable” in price? Or is what you see, what you get??
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

If anything they’ll get more expensive and rarer. With exception of events, and maybe another small release, all the cards are released already. Stubs are easy to get and the player base is small compared to most of the year.

Too many of the boss cards are too far away

We didnt have this many 1,000,000 stub minimum cards. BR cards are more expensive than last year also. They were the most expensive cards last year at the end game but all four flawless rewards werent all worth 1 mil stubs.

Even the Bronze and silver cards are more expensive and gold ones from BR are 15k

False.
Last year at this time, we had 4 WS Rewards (Hersh, Gehrig, B Wagner, Trout), 2 Flawless (Arrieta, Bellinger, Clark), plus another 5 event rewards added between Deceomber and End of Game that hit 1M (Trea, Killebrew, Guidry, Judge, Vlad Jr).

I decided to look up these card sales on December 7 of last year on the marketplace
Out of the WS cards you have listed, only Trout was selling at 1 million stubs.
Bellinger and Arrieta weren't selling anywhere near a million stubs.
The marketplace sales might be incorrect. SDS isn't known to be perfect on their sale listings, but that's what is showing for me.
The other cards weren't even released yet.
At this time of year we have 9 total cards selling at a million stubs at one time. Half of them have huge back orders also. It wasn't like this on Dec 7 of last year unless there is other cards you can list.

The answer to the problem is simple. Put price limits on cards. They can put down minimum sale prices. Why not put maximum sale prices?
-
They do, its 1M

I could be wrong on this, but didn’t the game content and programs end a bit later? If it did, matching up two of the same dates wouldn’t make the best source.
Again, I am not sure. Maybe it just feels like it. Playing every year mushes things together. -
