Br bug

On a current run and I have Matt Davidson on my bench. I’m six games in and each time I pinch hit him for my pitcher when the next inning starts he is on the mound. The first time it happened I thought it was my fault like I just pressed something to skip the screen. Then it happened again and I thought maybe I wasn’t paying attention. My last game I was super careful. After he pinch hit I kept my hands off the controller and it again skipped my bullpen screen and just put him on the mound. Is this just a Matt Davidson issue or is this a new late season bug? By the way he actually is a decent pitcher for a position player.

It could be because Matt Davidson tried to be a 2-way player but never really succeeded. I think he’s playing overseas now. Anyway, maybe he was coded a specific way so the game recognizes him as a pitcher too?

I m pretty sure it’s a bug with Davidson specifically. Tried someone else with no trouble. Davidson is a beast though. He batted 800 on the run and I don’t think he gave up a run pitching. Who needs Ohtani?

Does Davidson have relief pitcher secondary? If my memory is correct someone else was talking about this and it turns out it was because of his secondary relief pitching that he has to stay in.

He does have that secondary. Still seems like a bug though. It should still give the option if you want to leave him in. He is actually a decent pitcher though so it didn’t kill me.
