Late to the Johnson party.

First off; get y'all's minds out of the gutter.
When Milestone Randy was released I wasn't really interested in the card because of two reasons: 1. I haven't even logged more than 5 innings with his Sig Series card. 2. I couldn't see spending 1M on a card.
Now I figure that since I have 3M+ and nothing else that I want to buy right now; I figured I'd put in a Buy Order.
Little did I know that there are already 2,160 people in front of me.
I'm thinking, if I really want him, that it's probably faster for me just to grind the RS innings; even though I despise online play.
Moral of this story: If you want a Johnson; get it fast.

You need to smoke a joint and stay off forums for min lmao

Was it worth all that trouble just to get off the one line?

Just grind for him, having recently done it myself I can say the majority of ranked games I played were clean, fun, 9 inning games as I imagine most people I played were doing the same.

I agree with this, turn off messaging and just go. It makes you better for offline. Can it be frustrating absolutely. But just go into with the mindset of 250 innings. Then winning or losing doesn’t matter. Toxic asshats don’t matter. I had one guy that the first inning R2 and stepping out of the box. Ok. So I bunted the whole game just laughing. Won 6-2. I’ve also had some really fun 9 inning games with players that go back and forth.

Yeah, I'm probably going to just throw out some players that I want to parallel and just go into each game with that mindset.
My problem is that I'm very competitive. While I care if I lose; I don't care as much if my opponent actually beats me with skill.
I also have to have the mindset that some will try 'toxic' stuff just to get you to quit as the only thing they care about is their W/L record.
But I'm easy triggered. Probably not a good thing with a game like this.
As I stated before I play to relax and have fun and most of the time that doesn't happen. But I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

Sending positive vibes to you all on the grind.

I played 4 games last night. Literally to get innings I have to play down. It’s sad and annoying one guy we went to the 5th tied 0-0 each with 1 or 2 hits and I got a no touchie home run, didn’t even land….lost connection with opponent. Next game I let him score 5 runs in the first 2 innings, he had 1 hit the rest of the game. I hit 2 homers in the 8th, had the bases loaded with 0 outs bottom of the 9th….he quit out lol. It’s pathetic. I did have 2 really good games but they can be few and far between.

i mean who has their mind in the gutter, sometimes it takes longer to get the Big Unit, its not hard to understand. Keep sticking it to your opponents and keep your balls low as you pitch
