I think it would be really cool if MLB 23 The Show includes the World Baseball Classic!!! And in RTTS your player can be selected to play in it every 3 years!!! And if they're going to add this into the game, they should also add the Tokyo Dome in Japan and Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico!!!

That would require additional licensing...
Which requires additional money spent by SDS...
Which means SDS would need to get additional money from us...
Which means the game becomes more expensive!

Stadiums aren’t going to happen.
What COULD happen is they could make the WBC a program at the beginning of 23 that mirrored the structure of the postseason and rewarded low-mid tier diamonds for all the notable performances. Maybe even some uniforms.

The WBC is easily the worst idea ever created by MLB. There are not enough players in other countries to represent them, so they had to come up with some serious mental gymnastics to have players for other countries.
Players born and raised in America, and therefore American citizens playing for other countries because some long distant relative lived in another country so the commissioner of baseball, who seemingly knows nothing about baseball can put on a sham that it is a "worldwide" tournament.
Sorry, I have zero interest in this joke of a "tournament". I can't wait for some major star to have a season ending injury in a game that means less than nothing to cost a prominent team to have a terrible season and put this horrific idea to rest forever.
