alright, gonna call this one as over, I'm not getting anything of value from the answers. If anyone else would like to discuss and bring anything of substance, let me know

What value do you want? Lol you have no experience from when the game was actually balanced, you think that the last three year’s were balanced when they weren’t at all, and you tried to Bullsh*t that you completed the collection within the first day without spending any money or flipping lol

sold all non gatekeeper LS, sold all event reward cards, sold all BR cards, finish LS.
buy back slowly as prices drop, continue selling anything not being used if its value would decrease over time, build up stubs, buy back at the low, take advantage of flash sales, and repeat. truly not that hard

So you completed BR first day, then all the cards magically dropped on that same first day, and they offered out enough stubs in the first program for you to buy all those cards back in the first day?lol not buying it bud, literally every pack you opened on the first day would have to have held a gatekeeper as well, and if that was the case you should be playing the lottery not the show.

I think you misread his comments, it specifically says (ls excluded)

Ok, but he originally said he completed the LS collection first day without money spent or flipping, I am calling BS, you sell cards and play the market you are flipping.

I can't read anywhere where he said that?

I definitely did not. It was clearly stated and unedited. This is why I am done with this discussion. I clearly itemized and responded to ALL of your claims, and your response cherry picks one thing I said, twists the meaning, and ends with me not having played enough to know what you're talking about.

    1. you haven’t played this series long enough not just ‘22 to know what I am talking about and its pretty obvious since you reference ‘19-‘21 as balanced.

    2. still not sure how you completed every collection on the first day when only LS, Cover athletes and Takashi were the only collections available and don’t remember any RS or BR reward going for enough to complete the “non LS” collection’s with no money spent or flipping. So unless you were boosting to get the quickest buy now price I don’t believe it.

You’re original question was how was it the community’s fault that we are where we are with this game. Easy, the community doesn’t actually push back, instead they sit here and claim the 3 most unbalanced years of the show were balanced. In the end the blame is shared though, SDS doesn’t care because the community doesn’t care.

Correct, although I completely forgot about Adley and Mauer? (i think that's who they were but two catchers makes me question it) collections, didn't have those done until the week before Brett dropped. did have Babe within a day or so though.

Ok, but he originally said he completed the LS collection first day without money spent or flipping, I am calling BS, you sell cards and play the market you are flipping.

On the first day they were dropped as in Brett, Cutch etc, you are very much twisting his words atleast on that part.

He's not literally saying the first day as in the first day of the game dropping, He's saying the first day Brett dropped, the first day Cutch dropped etc.

But that’s not exactly what he said so am I twisting his words? “Collections done within the first day of release” he didn’t say “their release” he didn’t specify which collection he just said “collections done within first day of their release”.

He did state (ls excluded), you were twisting his words there, it was very easy to read on my end what he was conveying.

Yet there were 2 other collections available to complete day 1 outside of the LS collection, the collections weren’t specified so again not exactly sure how I was twisting his word’s?.

Because you were focused on the LS initially, were you not twisting his words there? You seriously can't admit you made a mistake on that? You really put your biases above everything else, if it has to do with something your passionate about, you let your points get in the way of reading what's actually said

alright, gonna call this one as over, I'm not getting anything of value from the answers.

Not trying to win, just trying to show you how your tripping over your own argument instead of reading and countering in a good manner.

    Guys
I am moving past the back and forth and getting back to the 125 -99 discussion.

Having been an avid ps3 player of the show i stepped away at the request of my then young teen sons to go the xbox1 route.

Hence missing entirely the ps4 and all that goodness.

So in the last two years of The show avail on xbox i have been thrilled but miffed as well.

The game feels so much tighter in franchise.

I thought all along it was the 125-99 thing.

Why do i enjoy my 94 reward kirk gibson more than basically any player
    Is it the 90/90 contact?

Why do i enjoy the LS mookie better than the as mookie.

    Same thing.
I feel the game just plays tighter with the lower ranked guys.

@Dolenz_PSN I just get a little annoyed by people who think he actually deserved it.

Mookie definately deserved it: He hit .330/.383/.697 in August, tied for the major league lead with 9 HRs, and led everyone with 30 runs scored.

BTW: Mookie deserved it in May also.

Do you really want to do a laundry list of August stats between Mookie and Arenado (who hit .364/.410/.729 and also had 9 HRs and led everyone with 29 RBIs)

Both deserved it. Something good is that Gallen received a really good card.
