2004 Finest 97 Juan Pierre

I really want to like this card. I have him in my lead off spot but all he does so far for me is pop up. I’m going to keep him in there for a while but I think he will be good. Hopefully.

Also, giving 90 stealing to one of the best base stealers in the history of the game is a little disrespectful, especially when his 91 overall card is 99 speed/99 steal I believe.
How many times had Pierre stole 100 or more bases in a season? I know I could look it up, but I am being lazy and I honestly am not sure if he has done it once. I am not knocking on Pierre, just an honest question.
100+ SBs in a season happened only 21 times and done by only 12 people. Juan Pierre didn't come close to 100x SBs in a season, but did lead the league in SBs in three different seasons. Most for him in a single season was 68.
Rickey Henderson has done it multiple times. I know it was a different game, but he is the greatest base stealer. I wasn’t aware it was that rare of a thing though. I know you don’t see too many players with high numbers of SBs. It’s strange that Pierre’s milestone card has 99 speed & stealing, but not the Finest. Did he have lower numbers the year of the Finest card? It doesn’t make sense to me either.
Yes, in 2004 he only had 45 SBs, but led the league in Games (all 162), PAs (748), ABs (678), Hits (221), 3Bs (12), and CS (24). That last one probably also a factor in the lower steal attribute rating! He led the league in CS in 7 different seasons!!!
He probably led the league in CS because once teams realized how good he was, they kept a close eye on him.
