Bosses pack quandry

All three cards are awesome.
I have 99 Cruz, so I don't know if 99 Ripken will make it in my lineup or not - BUT - he is IRON MAN. The one and only, and I really like him as a player.
I have 96 Piazza, 97 Kirk, 97 Contreras, and 96 Mauer. I like all of these cards. A 99 Bench would likely become my final catcher, but I really like my Piazza card and almost have him to P5. I haven't hit too well with the other Bench cards I've tried.
99 Martinez! I don't have another 99 SP, but I have a bunch of others I really like. He would be the leader in my rotation. I've heard some great things about this card too.
I am leaning heavily toward Martinez, but I am drawn to Ripken...because it's Ripken.
I need all three for the McCutchen collection, so that isn't a factor.
Sigh...I'll sit on the pack for a while and think about it.
-
There's no quandary... Martinez.
-
The pick is Pedro. Poor Bench and Ripken have had bad swings for years.
-
Okay then. Pedro, it is. Thanks for putting the brick on the scale for me.
-
I took Ripken because favorite player of all time

I get that! He isn't my all time favorite, but I loved watching him play.
-
So Bench and Ripken's swings are like last year?

Pick one, sell it, buy two back in a week for the same price. Win/win!

I didn't even think about that. Good idea!

I took Pedro, but fully plan to purchase Ripken. I’m really enjoying his swing so far this year. However, I fooly plan to purchase Bench.

Ripken has a different swing than last year’s 99. That one had the 90s swing. This one seems faster to me and his stride is helpful for timing.

That's what I hope to do. Sold Bench for 170k hoping they go down enough where I can scoop both Pedro and Cal for that amount.
-
get martinez wait a few days and you'll be able to get both for about 150k

I have no hard data to back this up, but it seems like these bosses are taking a bit longer than usual to drop in price.
My theory is that the majority of people chose Pedro and just kept him. So less supply of bosses on the market.
Probably right, but I’ve seen a few Ripkens out there and haven’t faced Pedro yet

I feel that there might be less supply of Bench because most people are choosing Pedro or Ripken. Your point is valid as well; if most people keep Pedro, than the market may reflect that.

I took Pedro because he’s easily the best player in the pack. Cal is my all time favorite player. I’m from Baltimore and Cal is legendary here. Well not just here but especially here. I’ll buy him soon. His swing is a little better than normal. I said the other day that Bench’s swing wasn’t good but I played showdown and I really like while playing so maybe he is pretty good.
