How do you get your CAP in Franchise mode. Can you also get them in MTO?

Start a franchise with a roster that has him in it. Cant use custom rosters in MTO.

You can’t. You can use your ballplayer in DD, you have to create a player in the front end for the above.

You can create players two ways: RTTS and Create a player.

RTTS players can only be used in RTTS and DD known as "my ballplayer." Your player that can be used in DD is on the upper left of the main start screen.

Create a player is different. You create a player from the upper right on the main start screen and can add him to a roster. I believe it is for Franchise only, but I'm not positive.
