Monday we’re getting new ranked season rewards 92 Lou Brock and 93 Paul Konerko. Don’t get me wrong I love Lou Brock cards but a 92 this late in the year? Come on man,why?

Even as a freebie I think it is weak and I say that as a Cardinals fan. The Topps Now cards this week were even 93's.

PR has always had the absolute bottom of the barrel rewards though. It's not anything new at all

I know that they’re basically freebie cards but to make an announcement like here’s Lou Brock you all have been asking for then we get the low Lou Brock. I just feel like they shouldn’t hype cards just to let us down, I would’ve been more excited to see it the day it was released. Like a nice surprise u weren’t expecting. Now I just know it’s gonna be a whole to see a really good Lou card or if we get another one at all. Why release the great cards at the end of the game cycle. Last year Trea and Vlad came out so late people couldn’t even use them. I got lucky and got them but at that point the game was pretty much over. Let us have fun with cards now.

Yeah I disagree with that. The last time they released all the good cards early was 18 and it was easily the most drastic loss of players at this time of any other year. Waiting keeps people around all year, which is their main goal and how I prefer it. I do agree that these pennant race rewards don't need a tweet but I'm not sure a tweet that has been pre-scheduled since February is really hyping anything up

Yeah I get what you’re saying. I don’t want 99s on day one but 99s are already out now so all I’m saying is don’t backtrack and start releasing 92s at this point. I agree with what you’re saying though

88 to 93 range cards with certain skill sets are great for events when your team overall is capped at 95.

People leaving early also had to do with how terrible game play was. The consensus was that that game was the worst ever. There were way fewer 99’s in 18 as well listed as immortals. Lou Brock in late August should never be a 92. Griffey and Mantle have been so disrespected in the last two weeks that it should be a crime. I hope you are right about there being a part 2.

Just collection filler’s as they have always been, 90% of the card’s released are useless at this point, at least from a competitive standpoint

Bring back the ticket counter and end of cycle immortals programs, I have said it every year since they started with 100+ rating’s, they are the main reason for the RNG going crazy. With the immortals program’s you can release 100+ ratings players at a point in the games life cycle that doesn’t mess with the online/competitive balance of the game.

I understand, but I also think Lou will as usual play above his numbers and will probably get a much better card later in the year. I was really just generalizing PR rewards as collection fillers, at least thats what they have always been for me.
