Yup, I'm playing MLBTS 22 until then. I won't even buy 23 because I will drop it as soon as NCAA comes out.
That’s also my plan. I just don’t have the same interest in DD that I used to. The H2H gameplay this year being so bad coupled with their unwillingness to try to improve it, yeah I’m not buying 23
Can’t wait for NCAA to come out. If they ever make NCAA basketball again as well, it’s curtains for this game

If I remember correctly, it was a bunch of 3 inning moments facing the best cards from each of the 30 teams. It was pretty mind numbing.

Yes, I really hope they make a NCAA basketball game too. I wore out 2k8 back in the day on ps3

I did like their role playing mode better than RTTS, but the people who abuse all the hacks and cheats cheapens that. From what I hear, the game doesn’t offer anything new from the previous years’ releases. However, I understand your point. -

They usually go up in difficulty each part as well. Was it veteran, all-star, HOF? I remember the Vlad being that in 19. I forget Babe’s progression, if it did have one.

You can start in any Nba era and work ur way up with different rules,Players,Story lines,Draft players to that Era specifically. looks interesting they seem to have put some effort for offline players might check it out this year + I enjoy the my player experience . The my team aspect on the other hand I’m kinda over tho.. straight cash grab in that part I wish they was more like Diamond-dynasty in the show . The Show still the most user friendly MyTeam mode on the market IMO no money required just Grind .

2k is always hard to judge because it has the best career mode and franchise mode of all the sports games but my team is so much incredibly worse than all the UT modes its drags it down a lot

True I simply ignore MyTeam mode now for the most part. I Just play Franchise-MyGM and My player Grind my player . The reason it’s worse it’s because it’s design as a cash grab sell packs get u to spend $$. If 2k was like Mlb the shows DD just grind and get whatever you want less emphasis on trying to get u to buy packs it would be a A+ tier MyTeam mode. With 2k’s Licensing rights there Legend player pool availability and budget the creativity with the content could be endless it’s a Shame really greed gets in the way.

Why does everybody here worry so much about who's moving to Madden or not??? I just don't understand what difference it makes. I play both games and use both forums and can say nobody from Madden forums cares about when this game launches. Is it because this game is a much smaller player base than Madden and less players is less fun? Is it just a good conversation piece in slower forums? It kinda reminds me of the guy who says he hates his ex-girlfriend, but talks about her still. Obviously Madden is a much more popular game, but still. Im not attacking, just curious why there has been 50 posts this week talking about people leaving for Madden.

Is there any good videos/documentaries on the psychology of gaming? It’s just really interesting to me how there’s always people who say the game is dead (why?) and then also a group of people who always try to prove otherwise… maybe some sort of self validation to how they’re spending their time. I’m not sure. It’s just interesting to me.

This guy summed it up. Throw in every pitcher being able to make the once in a 100 fielding play on balls up the middle 90% of the time.
Fix those things and we are getting somewhere.

This is my second year to play and this "Madden" thing is one of the most perplexing things in the world to me. I really don't understand why it matters if people play Madden or not. There is nothing wrong with people playing another game or liking multiple sports. While I don't think "Madden" is really relevant to this forum, I definitely think it is relevant to SDS. To me it would seem like there are three main groups they are dealing with...

The group that only plays baseball games and will play this game no matter what games are released.

The group that likes or is interested in more than The Show, but their preference is to play The Show.

The group that is seasonal and it really doesn't matter what happens, they are going to play a different game like Madden when it is released and then come back to The Show when it is released the next year.
While I don't think "Madden" should matter to this forum, I would think SDS would want to create a game that was relevant all year long to keep Group #2 interested and maybe even pull back in part of Group #3 whenever possible. Unfortunately, I don't really know if they are accomplishing that this year. I am in that first group and really do not care about other games at all. I would play this game year round if gameplay was solid and I wouldn't care if the rewards sitting around at the end of the game cycle were 65 Alan Trammel's. I am playing less and less this year and even downloaded F1 this week to give it a try. I play for 15 minutes and come back to The Show though.
The problem is that I am in Group #1 and shouldn't really be looking for another game in August. If there are people like me, I think SDS is going to lose a lot of #2's and #3's throughout the year no matter what game it is that is being released.

I used to love the stadium rankings on the really old versions. The hardest stadiums to play in would have the screen shaking pre snap. One season I played through position locked to a FS and won the heisman. That game used to be so god [censored] good I really hope they do it justice but anyone waiting for that and hating on madden will probably be disappointed. It’s just a re skin but it’s the re skin everyone wants.
I'll just say this..... you DO NOT want to face me on that recruiting trail....
