Is this suspicious or is it just me?

I was playing an event match yesterday. We were scoreless through 2 innings a pitcher’s duel, when it pops up his wireless controller is disconnected. After he almost uses up all his time to get reconnected he’s back. Now after this happens his next 2 hits are HR’s, then 2 singles till I finally strike out 1 batter and the last 2 are fly outs. It just seems weird that he when he came back he couldn’t miss. Is this suspicious or just me?

Seems like the player connected a cheat device.
-
Or his controller was dying and not responding well. He connected and won.
Probably more likely since cheating devices help you pitch and not hit. At least that's what this inetrweb thingy has been saying.
-
No question that when a controller is about to die it is not near as responsive. I would assume he was struggling before his controller died and then was playing at his ability when he returned. Saw the same thing the other day with someone I was playing. They kept seeming like they were making awkward decisions in the field and then the controller disconnected a few times…the controller stopped disconnecting and they started playing significantly better.

As new self-appointed forum moderator, I nominate this for a "Post of the day". Smart, well-reasoned response.
Congratulations on this prestigious nomination.

Maybe his older brother, who's better at the game took over.....'bro, I'm losing.' 'Really? Hand me the controller.'
Maybe. -
While you were distracted by his disconnected controller, he tapped into your monitor feed to see your pitching display.

I kinda thought he may have attached one of those Cronus Zen.
Yeah but those aren’t cheating according to SDS. Everything is working as intended
-
This is some next level Alex Jones conspiracy
-
I have 4 controllers...if you switch controllers during the game it pops up with the disconnect prompt.

A pitchers duel after 2 innings? Well call the police because it should have ended 0-0, everyone knows if you are bad at hitting for 2 innings, it means you suck. No good player has two bad innings in a row

Such elitism.
I promise you, I can hold you to no runs in two innings using classic pitching. Stop being a rude elitist

I'm very confused, what exactly in my sentence was elitist?

Classic pitching tho? Double dam

I know for me sometimes I just need a little breather to get back on track mentally.
One game recently my opponent decided to start taking forever in between pitches, pausing the full timer length every inning. Well all of that downtime allowed me to be more patient and get into a zone and I scored 5-6 runs the next inning and he raged out.
