The reality is SDS has made this game to give bad and casual players a chance to win . Unless your a top 50 goon it’s hard for most of us to over come the bs. Ive force myself to play this game because I love baseball
So how does the game know that the person is a bad or casual player?
It doesn’t, it just rewards bad input far too often. We understand that there is randonmess in baseball, there are bloop hits, unlucky ball bounces and all that… but this is a videogame and input should matter a little bit more.
For starters pitcher’s confidence shouldn’t be included in the hitting outcomes equation, if your confidence is up and you threw an absolute dot, if I was good enough to put pci on the ball then don’t punish me.
Have you ever played real baseball? Confidence is key. I think currently hitting and pitching is pretty balanced.
Also this is a video game. If you want to be perfectly realistic go play on a real diamond. It's the BEST video game of baseball we have and I think SDS has done a fine job.
It's not perfect but it's fun. That's all I care about.
Stop complaining about it and try to enjoy life.
Its like putting change in a vending machine and your chips get stuck half way down. Your input means nothing in this game is the point he is trying to make.
Offline plays well if that's your thing but online is a RNG nightmare.
If you enjoy the game, adapt and accept it for what it is. You shouldn't play if your not having fun... that's why we get paid to work, because it's not fun all the time. If my chips get stuck... I shake the machine until they fall out and sometimes even get an extra bag... adapt.
I agree with you and I do very much enjoy the game. But when the core game mechanic is broken in a competitive setting people will complain. Also, shaking a vending machine is against the law.

It should be against the law to steal my chips too.

Your player profile. It keeps track of stats and tendencies. Remember all that "data" they talk about. They know when you log on to the servers, what modes you play etc. Your percentage of perfect perfects. They can keep track of all this stuff.

Let me guess, you keep losing so you’ve reached the conclusion that input must not matter? Or, and hear me out here, other people might be as good or better than you and that’s why you’re losing?

So you think they are tracking who is “good/bad” and then code the game so that the bad players get rewarded? That tinfoil hat must get uncomfortable in the summer.

The game doesn't work properly. It doesn't take a PhD to figure that out. Maybe someone can put it in braille for you to understand since you cannot see that.

Hard to refute “the game doesn’t work properly”. You really put me in my place with that well formulated take. Case closed!
