Loss in extra innings

So i just took a loss in an extra inning game when my pitcher did not throw one pitch in the last inning. Tied 0-0 going into the 14th and my pitcher is pulled due to out of energy…..did not throw one pitch that inning. New pitcher comes in and gives up 3 runs, but my pitcher is credited with the loss, but no affect to hus ERA. How does that work? Are they just saying he is automatically responsible for the guy on 2nd that starts the inning there? Unreal and stupid if that is the case

Take it up with Manfred, not SDS.

The ghost runner on second is considered the baserunner for whoever started the inning. Stupid, I know.
