AS players: pitcher recommendations?

Struggling to find some pitchers which I can have some sort of success with against other AS players.
Right now it seems like Randy and that new future card, Miller, are the only ones that can dominate decently well on this difficulty.
For other mostly AS players I'm wonder what pitchers you either struggle against or have seen others struggle against?
Thank you.

All star is batting practice no matter what. And the if you try to throw a 55-foot curve ball … it will hang over the middle.
The opponent will be saying “You hang ‘em we bang ‘em”
And replay the HR.
Then you will hit a HR the following inning but your opponent will disconnect before the ball lands.
Rinse and repeat

Its not THAT bad. I routinely put up 15K+ games with Randy and just had a 22K game with Miller/Chapman.
Ks are possible hence why I'm looking for another pitcher that can provide SOME shelter from the storm.

I’ve actually had a lot of success with Saberhagen and Oswalt. Guys with good off speed and control.

I for the most part am an AS player. I can get to HOF, but struggle once I get there. This year I have liked Weaver and Carrasco. I have used Martin Perez once and really liked him. Just got done playing a game against a guy pitching Price and I struggled against him. I ended up winning, but I had far fewer hits than normal. He was in the mid 600s and knew how to pitch, but I have heard a few people say Price works well at HOF. I am going to give him a run at AS and /or HOF to see even though I haven’t liked him in the past.

I play all star difficulty and I seem to do better with high velo cards better. The 2 you named are my best also. It’s hit and miss with a lot of the guys I’ve tried.

Don't hear much about him but the Jobe card has very good speed differentials. Parallel him up some and his 4 seam will top out at 99 with nasty off speed pitches.

Corbin Burnes LS is usually a solid AS card. Hard thrower with movement (sinker/cutter/slider).
I find Keuchel annoying on AS or higher. His stuff moves a ton. He is a bit less effective is you dont hit the corners sometimes or face a guy with a great eye who forces you to throw strikes. But even if his hard stuff is only a 92-94 range, mixing it well can still get late swings.

You absolutely NEED pitchers with outstanding control. On pinpoint pitching, you can't expect too much success when you try to put it on the corner and there's a 50% change it's down the middle, or a foot off the plate even when you're perfect. If you have the ability to reliably put the ball exactly where you want it, you can make aggressive hitters get first pitch outs, and patient hitters caught looking, etc.
If you actually face a good player that's used to HoF and Legend, that treats AS like batting practice... Score some runs...
