They have become more aggressive last couple games with the attribute changes. Use to not be this was and they would say it was because of a 3 year ago. 25,25,50 I believe us how they would weight it. With 50 percent going to current season. Now I think they are more like 15,15,70

I chuckle everytime I see someone defend roster updates with that obvious lie. Arenado is a perfect example.
I think the 3 year average really only applies to the ratings at launch. After that it's performance based...
I'm open to that. Where did you get that from? Can you link to anything?

The funny part is that more than half the players in the major league would love to put up bad numbers like Trout has been putting up. I believe for the season he is still top 5 in WAR. I feel like people just expect Trout to put up amazing numbers every day, he is in fact human.

I would be shocked if they have an actual formula or algorithm or whatever. I think they just kinda do whatever floats their wangs that week.

Totally this. Frankly I thought Acuna was going to go down but it went the other way. He's not really hitting for much power compared to career norms but yet his power is still sky high but god forbid a good pitcher has a 9k/9 with a 2 era they're going down lol

I think the only reason you have Trout on your team at this moment is if you are completing the live series collection today. If not for that, there’s no other good reason because the price is undoubtedly going to drop once they run a sale, probably soon, and then keep dropping the rest of the season. There are 9 other 93+ CF cards which can be had for a fraction of the cost and you can cash out your Trout at the highest it’s ever going to be. Sell, sell, sell.

Yeah they killed Arenado. Before, he was at least a very good bench bat vs lefties and a good starter if he was playing up vs righties. Now he’s basically useless.

They killed several of these guys. They down graded Trea Turner immediately and they he went on a hitting streak. They also downgraded Vlad Jr and killed his value. Even giving Judge a plus one but destroying his contact makes that card unusable. I like LS Stat adjusting but it can be much more subtle for sure.

I was fortunate enough to pull Vlad twice and sell him for over 100k both times.

before his HR tonight, Trout had a 182 OPS+, which would be tied for the 4th best mark of his career, and is 30 points higher than Ronald Acuna Jr. he’s been worth 2.8 WAR, which is double that of Acuna. no logic whatsoever supports having Trout below him in the LS ratings.

Sheesh.Yes, the GOAT is back in force. The SDS statisticians need to send him an apology for the insult and rethink their models. Trout has seven seasons (eight counting 2022) with an OPS higher than Acuna's best OPS season. Even with a huge slump, he is tied for second in ops this year.

He didnt really move much. They been doing well in keeping up with current tendencies.

I hope he goes up to 95+ again soon. His been one of my favorite players to play with. I hit my only 500+ HR with him this year.
