I've used an Astro C40 on my PS4. Works great and you can use it for the PC and probably PS5 etc.
I've only used it on my PS4 and PC. I use the Dual Sense for the PS5.
Wish I could get a c40, had one but one of the buttons got spongy so I returned it to Best Buy as party of the geek squad thing only to find out it wasn’t available anymore. Still have a couple modules for it too.
I have one that’s virtually brand new. I can sell it to you if you want. DM me

I appreciate the offer but I don’t really like buying my electronics from a private party… I’m sure the one you have works great but if something happens and it doesn’t work I like to have a company to go back on to get it fixed/replaced.

Basically the scuff and there’s only one that came out about a week ago or some really crappy parts you can buy and modify your controller yourself, but that would be insane because this game is one button so you don’t need extra ones.
It’s just another reason Xbox is superior. They don’t need aftermarket controllers, Xbox just makes them. They didn’t need extra components for 120z monitors and a update two years later, it just worked on release. Almost any controller you see from content creators is a Xbox elite controller. PS4 controllers don’t work on “PS5 games” so you could use a older aftermarket controller on the PS4 version of the game but not on the new PS5 version. It’s incredibly stupid. Scuffs are great though, and the price isn’t as high as you said. It’s 199$ but not needed at all for this game.
