Somehow I'm 15-0 ranked (cant get past 3 wins in BR) but I need an ace. Only pitchers I trust right now are Carasco and Blue.

It's not like position players where I can tell from just looking at the card. I have 105k stubs and can easily sell some junk for more. Who should I get? Trying to make a WS push

Corey Kluber was around 10K stubs & could definitely get a ranked win..
I would start David Price (30K) or Roy Halladay (20K)

I would work to complete the Houston collection, Awards Keuchel is easily my best pitcher.

I would advise against these last 2; they throw straight stuff that will get mashed online.

Really depends on your budget; if you can get Keichel, go for it.

IMO Price is better than Dallas and it’s not particularly close. Dallas just throws too slow with slightly more movement. Whereas, Price can get it up to 100 with his 4 seam and then drop a 76 mph knuckle curve on you.

All depends on what level you are playing. On HOF and above, Halladay is fantastic, as is Keuchel/Price.

They both throw sinker / cutter how is that straight stuff? I get their breaking pitches aren’t the best but it’s really about how you mix it up

Added benefit to Keuchel is you get to lock in Verlander at 15K

Price: No slider or slurve, not enough speed diff. Cutters aren't that great if you can't pitch it off a slider, or if the speed is too close to a FB. Devin Williams' cutter is tough because it's basically a slider. The only thing you need to watch is the change up.

Halladay: same, remove the change up. Lower velocity. Sit on/lay off the curve.

For Price, I'm going from experience, as I've hit him well and been shelled when using him; you barely see him around because people know this. This year may be an exception since the rollout of top Ps is slower. For Halladay, first year so no experience to back this up, but his stuff his pretty ordinary. He gets banged in mini-season vs the CPU, I won't use him in RS for sure.

You may get by on the lower levels, but as you get to/close to 700 and above, they'll get destroyed.

I second both of these. Keuchel gives me fits every single year. I dont know, just cant read him well I guess and his slower speeds are jarring when you're used to everyone throwing 98+.

Corbin throws hard with cutter and sinker being his top 2 pitches. I've had good success with him so far (i've only played minimal ranked 15-2 record).

I cant comment on higher difficulties but FOTF Manoah, even only having 4 pitches has done really well for me. Good break on the slider, hard sinker and a circle change play well off each other. Definitely solid on Allstar, not sure if he plays on HOF or not.

I want that Glavine card, like Keuchel a bit slower in the velo but his control and break are nuts.

Burnes to me is arguably the easiest pitcher in the game to hit....going back to the beginning of 21 it was essentially either him or DeGrom, every-single-game. You know what you are getting and he's very easy to lay off when people try and jam you up.

    96 Signature Mike Mussina.

Edit: I thought of another one. 93 2nd Half J.R. Richard. He has outlier.

Yeah - his slider is the slowest pitch he has at 92. It is 7 slower than his 4SFB - except for when his outlier kicks in at 102, but yeah.

Decided to take the chance on him. No complaints. Hes mowing guys down for the most part. Struggles to put out good lefties, Delgado took him deep on a slider. About what you expect looking at his card. Can overpower and dominate but lacks a change up or splitter.

Hes like a better Dibble as a SP

Weaver maybe. His speed differential is nice. I haven't used him yet.

Glavine is still very expensive for a slightly better keuchel, imo.

JR Richard throws everything the same speed.

And Kershaw usually gets smacked around by good players.
