So Walker Buehler has given up 51 hits in 52.2 innings
K. Gausman has given up 53 hits in 56 inningsBuehler H/9 = 79
Gausman H/9 = 69Make it make sense

A 5 year old wouldn’t care
But live series is supposedly based off 3 season average not last 2 months
-
Because Kirk Gibson is better than Tom Henke.

While the 3 year/history thing kinda went out the window in terms of upgrades in 2020 due to the short season, this one looks like its based on history.
Since 2020 Buehlers h/9 is 5.9 / 6.7 / 8.7
Gausman has 7.5/ 7.0 / 8.5Seems like it makes sense based on history.

Seems to be another case of when a player is overperforming in comparison to previous years then fans want to ignore the previous years and have his card be entirely based on this season.
When a player is underperforming in comparison to their previous seasons then fans want to discount this seasons totals and point to how good they were in past seasons.

Which one has given up more XBH?
-
So explain to you like you're five how live statistics correlate to a digital number in a video game?
Okay, here goes:
"You're too young, son. You wouldn't understand."
How'd I do? -
Math is stoopit.

But when a player shows up on time for a game he gets a 90+ Topps Now card
