Also I love when those who are NMS also come of here an complain that's SDS doesn't get enough new legends or loose a legend, when in releality being NMS is a factor in losing or gaining these legends as you contribute nothing to getting these players.

I beg to differ on this. If people spend money buying any edition of the game they are contributing.
Agree there is a larger debate to be had on this for sure, I just think it's funny how in one way you boast you are NMS then complain that the company doesn't spend enough to get legends.

A few reasons:
Low Self Esteem: They need something, no matter how irrelevant, to have in order to be significant over people. Example: MLB the Show 19 and the streamers getting their own baseball card
Challenge: They enjoy the grind and feel that others can relate to them.
Street Cred: Within their circle of friends they feel the need to stand out. However, being unique isn’t always a good thing
Vindication: They are losers in life so they need to find something that they can win. Example: That guy a few posts above who feels superior because he has more upvotes in this thread
A lot of these can blend into each other and can apply to more than not spending money in a video game. My personal take: I have a disposable income, a loser in life, and have zero issue in investing in my hobby or others that do the same. Though I only do single player DD modes, sometimes like golf the only name on the scorecard is yours and that shouldn’t be considered a bad thing

Most of the people I've played with TTV in their names are not very good and they should realize that not everyone needs to be on the internet.

Who said you have to be good to be a streamer? Some engage with chat more than others, some are very entertaining, some are good at the game. You don’t have to be good at the game to be on Twitch.
