That's the one thing about the card that gave me pause when looking through the collection rewards. His velocity being low doesn't bother me as I usually do well with the likes of Greg Maddux, Adam Wainwright, and Cole Hamels.

He keeps hovering around the 99k-106k range
Patience is killing me, I can scoop him right now but figure I’ll regret if I do

It will slowly decline. Assuming he stays at 89 i would say he drops about 15k a week

Just use Trea Turner as a bit of a comparison. I think he was around 55-60k after about 2 weeks and now like 20-25k. One thing to keep in mind though, is that there is a VERY good chance, that for Memorial Day, their is going to likely be a stub sale, and that will greatly inflate the market. If i didnt have him already, I think i'd wait a week to buy him at least, but i'd 100% purchase him before the next attribute update and make sure I get him before the stub sale happens.

Honestly with pitching in this game when you run into a really good hitter it doesn’t matter who your throwing. But he does have amazing BB/9 so you can spot it just outside the zone and get some weak outs. Realistically I don’t know what else you can do this year besides that. A foot outside is a foul, inside is a bomb, there likes a two inch zone outside the black where if they chase it’s a chance for an out. He’s just fun with that movement. Destroys the AI, won’t carry you to WS but a solid ace for now.

Well, I could certainly use another reliable starter because at the moment, the only long-term guys I have in my rotation are probably Jacob deGrom and Dontrelle Willis.

Turner was my first (120k) and Vlad about a week ago for 190k. I worked for that Turner so it stings a little more.
For an additional poke in the eye, I pulled Turner from a Headliner pack today.

He dipped to the high 60’s yesterday, now back up to the low 70’s.
We think he drops any lower?
Feel like I need to buy him before next Friday’s attribute upgrade in case he gets boosted.

I was thinking the same, trying to get him before Friday. I bought Trout today so clearly the stubs took a hit…whenever I wait, prices soar and whenever I buy prices dip hard.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about Vladdy going back up on Friday…..while he hasnt been terrible (he’s been getting on base) he hasn’t had and xbh since early May.

Yeah if he doesn’t go up his price is going to tank even harder. Tough call.
I honestly can’t remember an example of a guy going back over 90 the update after they got dropped below 90…
