Currently the Dodgers has Freeman, Turner, Kershaw, Buehler & Betts as Diamonds. But I predict that Muncy, Smith & Kimbrel will each go Diamond on this Fridays update. Each have been playing well enough to give then the jump. Muncy & Smith is currently at 84, they both just need an overall boost of 1 more up to make them 85 Diamonds & Kimbrel at 83 needs an overall boost of 2 to get him to Diamond.

I invested in getting a bulk amount of these 3 cards, especially because the Sell Now price for them each was 1,400 to 1700 which makes them each a great pay off if they each go Diamond.

But apart from the stub gain, it will be awesome seeing the Dodgers as the only team with 8 Diamonds. I dont think I ever seen before any team in any years past that had more them 6 Diamonds on their team at any given time.

Didn't they just downgrade Muncy last update?

Yup, my first diamond pull of the year got degraded days after I got him.

But within these past 2 weeks he has been very consistent & just enough to bring him back up to 85. It wouldn't be the 1st time it's been seen. I think it was in 19 when Rizzo (on the Cubs) Started at release date being a Diamond, a couple of updates later he went down to Gold, then a few updates later he went back up to Diamond & then by the season's end he went back down to Gold.

Why the hell would Muncy go up? He’s batting .136 on the year and should see a significant drop. Will Smith isn’t going up at al either.

No chance for Muncy he's off to a bad start

If they do not go this week then just hold them most likely they will go at some point. I think Will Smith should have started out as an 85 or 86.

I bought them low within 1400 & 1600 stubs each. So not a major loss if they stay the same at 84 & 83 & just a slight loss if either goes down to 83, 82 or 81. None of them will drop to Silver & it's a good pay off if either does go Diamond, Especially Smith or Kimbrel. yes Muncy is a bit of a long-shot, but I'm taking that gamble. His card only ranged me 1600 to 1650 each when I bought them & currently his Buy Now is 1830. So I can always sell him off immediately after the update to get back what I invested & maybe even make a profit of 100 stubs of each of his cards I bought before the market catches up to his non-change or even dropping to 83 or 82.

Don't forget the new QS values. At 81 it drops to 600 stubs. 82 its 900. So if they drop to an 80 OVR, you're gonna hemorrhage stubs. The likelihood they drop in the next update is high.

Whatever drug you are on it must be wonderful.

Predicting that two batters hitting 136 and 236 are going to be upgraded to diamonds.

Maybe Kimbrel but his SO/9 is down significantly this year compared to the last two and SDS lives and dies by the K/9 stat for relievers.

Kimbrel should be a diamond every year. Greatest reliever of our generation.

I dont plan to Quick Sell him back if he stays at 84 or drops to 83, 82 or even 81. I'm going to list him in Buy Now immediately after the update & get all I can for him before his Buy Now prices drops drastically. However his card is showing an 87 boost & is why I'm taking the gamble he may go back up by 1 to 85 & be a Diamond again on this update.
