PXP missions

You know, I really don’t mind the move to PXP missions this year. It’s convenient in some cases. But these 3,000 point ones are particularly onerous. The individual 500 ones, too, frankly.

I think 500 makes sense given it's p1. But yeah 3000 is meh

It would not be so bad if you could drop all of the POTM cards in your lineup at the same time. But no. You add 3 (probably 2 batter and one pitcher or vice versa) and then you have to earn your way to number 4. Then you have to play some more to get number 5, etc etc etc.
Tedious.

I wouldn't mind them as much if the rewards for the season were more than 3K xp.

Could be worse. You could have to do them online.
If this is going to be the norm; they need to do away with the 8 batter minimum.
If I want to put three players, that I'm working on, in the first three spots of my lineup and bat with them until I get three outs, or worse as soon as the last one bats, and I want to quit out the game; I should be able to quit out the game.
Penalizing someone because they don't need PXP with 5-6 other players is just [censored].
Especially for online where if you're getting thrashed and it's only the second inning; you can't leave the game without losing what PXP you earned.

Thanks for using the word onerous! I like to think I have a quite respectable vocabulary but I had to look it up. Thanks again lol.

I bought them all off the market, then sold off the 3 88's and 1 90 that were selling for the highest amount after i accomplished their PXP missions. Locked in the rest for program progress, and I'm almost done getting those 4 cards I sold back as part of the no sell packs at the end of the path. I actually made stubs on the process. It's worth trying.

The pxp missions are fine. It’s not a race.

I am not saying that they are not fine. I am just saying that they are not enjoyable for me. Sure I could spend the next week or two slowly grinding through them but by then there will be a new program wanting you to earn PXP with another group.
If you limit your playtime, then you begin to wonder "Just when will I get to use my entire main squad again?"
What I won't do is create multiple threads about it, call SDS names and hold my breath because they ruined the game. I realize this is just my opinion on the way they are doing things.

Yeah ... I'm going to have to rent some hitters to get this part done. 3k with one player is going to get rough.
Lesson learned for next month. -
Pitchers are too fast hitters too slow.i picked 1 pitcher and 4 hitters with the ma and was at 1200 with hitters when i got to 3k with the pitcher.
Still better than # PAs # R # H #XBH etc. -
I already had noticed that 3,000 PxP needed with a POTM Pitchers & POTM Hitters. So I made sure my 1st choice card would be a SP so I could just 5 complete games with with that SP via "Vs. CPU" on Rookie. each CG will give a total of 600 to 700 PxP at end of game with each inning pitched, every K & getting a QS, SO & CG. The 10 stars earned from that along with the player missions will get me to my 4th POTM pack. so the next 3 packs will be hitters chosen just to put them in my line-up & using the same POTM SP to bang out the total 3,000 Hitters PxP. The more POTM's you have in your line-up is the more overall PxP you earn per game which is needed to get to that 3,000. It does not have to be done with only 1 exclusive hitter or pitcher.

I'm at 2955.... thought I had enough after my last game so I was excited ( ok not that much ) and then the "mlb the show effect" wich is simply the antonyms for fun bring me back to reality. Everyday's feel like a foul ball in the nuts !
