SDS Just Got Too GREEDY & Filled Up Their Plate Way Too Much

I'm pretty sure the MLB made them go to Microsoft and Nintendo. Dont think it was their choice
Exactly most fail to comprehend this
So it wasn’t they’re choice…that’s cool….what does that have to do with they’re inabilities to make a properly functioning game? Especially a game that has had minor changes to it over YEARS. They’ve had the foundation already built and yet here we are with problems…..again.
Nothing. And no one is talking about that here. This clahn is saying the problems are from them going to multiple new platforms. And that they only went to new platforms because they were greedy for money.
And they are greedy for money, just like every other single business across the world, so sure maybe they were happy to go to new platforms to grow their brand. But the MLB was also pushing Sony, not SDS, Sony to do so.

WRONG!!!!!! It was SDS that chose to do this to get a 3 year head start on Xbox & a 2 year head start on Nintendo for when EA will bring back & re-release MVP Baseball in 2024 which is official. SDS wants to make sure Xbox owners & Nintendo Switch owners get to play MLBTS before they get to play MVP Baseball. SDS feels if MLBTS is played "NOW", then they will have established a loyal customer base which will NOT even give EA MVP Baseball a try. However If SDS would have waited for EA to be released in 2024 & then SDS themselves went cross platform, then it would be too late because now EA would have the clear advantage of being the 1st Baseball game played on Xbox & Nintendo
Is MVP 2024 official? Oh shiiieeet!!!

Here is a better article. After reading this article it seems like that if Sony/SDS wanted to keep the exclusivity rights (ie how EA is with Madden) the new contract included that they must release it on more platform than just Sony platforms.
At least that is my take on it.

[censored] SDS. Can’t wait until another option is available. This game is a frustration fest.

So if I make a YouTube video that drinking bleach cures cancer, would you believe it?
But No matter what. The fact that SDS chose to go cross platform NOW with PS, Xbox & Nintendo just should tell you that they are fully aware that EA is going to relaunch MVP Baseball in 2024. So having that head start on Xbox & Nintendo 1st clearly is in their advantage & best interest to do so.
Why in NYC there are more Yankee fans than Met fans? Because the Yankees where there 1st way before the Mets. Same logic with why SDS wanted to make sure they were 1st on Xbox next gen & Nintendo Switch
If that were the case, why didn't the make this game unbelievably good so everyone would never want to stop playing? Instead, they are making many consumers want an alternative.

I think 23 needs to strictly be made for current gen consoles. The one holdback will probably be the switch just because from a technical specs standpoint it’s nowhere close to a XSX or PS5.
I would even be okay with them taking a year off Call of Duty style and rework most of the game from the ground up. We know that won’t happen though because money talks.

WRONG!!!!!!
No you are actually wrong.
Look up the publisher for the Playsation version and the Microsoft version. The publisher for Playstation is Sony. The publisher of the Microsoft version is MLB.
But you go ahead and spread your negativity, conspiracy theories and youtube rumors because I know that correcting your mistakes won't stop you as you are obviously more intelligent and well informed than all the rest of us.

I don't see them going next gen exclusive for at least another year or two. By then it there isn't enough supply for people that want a PS4; there will never be enough supply.

The PS3 came out in 2006. The last MLB The Show game to come out on PS2 was MLB The Show 11.
The PS4 came out in 2013. The last MLB The Show game to come out on PS3 was MLB The Show 16.
Sports games are usually some of the last titles to come to old hardware. I think the full transition from PS3 to PS4 was a little faster because PS3/360 generation was longer than normal. With the supply chain issues and the overall success of the PS4, I would be shocked if PS4 didn't get 4-5 MLB The Show games post PS5 launch. We still have a ways to go, and even with a separate build the Switch version is probably going to hold everything back at least a little.
I have a PS5 and Series X and I would love to see more of a generational leap than what we've gotten so far, but I won't hold my breath.
