Draft speed and power guys. If you are having trouble with him at the end then just start taking more pitches. I'm also pretty sure I til you have about 8 runs they give you the free base on a steal attempt so do with that what you will. Good luck

Easiest way is by NOT failing any of the prior missions so you could enter that last battle down less runs & as well being able to have built up your team with better players & perks along the way. But I do agree that if you fail 2 to 4 missions & are going into last battle being down 6 to 8 runs. Then yes 12 out's is NOT enough.

It was those missions that crushed me. If I didn't meet the offensive stats needed to pass, I'd get rocked on the mound. Even with a gold card pitcher.

Showdown to me is an other version of BR in a way. You need to pay stubs each time to just enter & as well to really succeed in Showdown, you need to go thru the entire program undefeated without failing any missions. Even with failing 1 or 2 prior missions it could make that final battle so much more harder. That is why I also feel Showdowns are like BR. In order to get those top prize cards, you need to go 12-0 undefeated. So with showdown for that final battle to become easier to beat, you need to go undefeated in all prior missions.

I usually take all the boosted contact (instead of velo) perks with behind in the count and 2 strike counts when they’re available, and I don’t swing until I have 2 strikes to wear them down. Plus Shohei is wild, so if you’re lucky his confidence will drain. Still need a bit of luck though.

Try completing as much Challenges as possible and get as much good lefty hitters and hitters with good pwr vs righties as possible, this Will make ir a lot easier
