HDR issues after Update 4 Install
-
After this update when the game launches, HDR indicator comes up but the game loads and plays in what looks like low low res it looks like. What the heck happened? Something DEFINTELY changed with this update
-
Same here!!!

That doesnt sound like HDR that sounds like your resolution changed. Double check in video settings. It may have happened because Sony updated the PS 5 to use VRR.
-
Even after you set it back to what it was it still changes again when the game starts.
-
Having the same issue here. It looks like [censored] after launching the game! Unplayable without adjusting my CALIBRATED oled settings.
-
I have the exact same problem. It's not the HDR settings because Horizon Forbidden West doesn't have any problems. I have this since the update on PS5. I messaged their Twitter accounts and got no response yet.

It also happened to me. It seems to be related to the 120hz from the latest patch. When I turned this to off in video settings in the PS5 video and screen settings (not in game settings), it resolved the issue and went back to “normal”. However, although the graphics look worse with the new patch, seeing the ball out of the pitcher’s hand is easier and reaction time is improved. For the time being I am allowing the crappy graphics for a better OPS. This is not how it should be

Tried this and it actually works. Graphics aren't as sharp, but at least it doesn't feel like I'm looking directly into a white light. Hope they fix this situation soon.

Turning off 120hz on the TV restored my color. It does work. Finally I can play again. Impossible to play with the exposure so high and my oled white washed. Thank you all!
