Why would they allow 120hz on Xbox but not Ps5, I’d like to know the reasoning.
In all honesty, it most likely wasn't intended.

Why would they allow the game on gamepass but not through psn?
-
So much easier to hit with 120hz in batting practice on ps5. They better add this for online
-
does your ps5 team transfer over to xbox? And what Xbox's do 120hz?
-
I am switching to xbox because yes it does play at 120

Which xbox do you need? Does it have to be the newest one? Also will our teams transfer over?
-
Will sds even adress this?
-
Where is the level playing field if you can play at 120hz on one system but not on others?
If this is a thing online they should shutdown crossplay. I for my own sanity have disabled crossplay for now. -

Will our teams transfer over to xbox?
-
I am wondering the same thing

Yes you “link” your accounts and everything transfers. Just make sure your TV or monitor supports 2.1 hdmi and all of the modern specs.

Sony just released the VRR update today for PS5 consoles. SDS could not, or did not, implement 120hz for PS5 consoles until that update from Sony happened.
I hope SDS gives us an ETA on when this will be implemented in online h2h for PS5 users, or at least official statement regarding this.

It actually didn’t. VRR coming to PS5 later in the week. MLBTS allowed 120hz for offline only as of today. It is a night and day difference, at least on my TV.

I just noticed VRR in my console's menu settings... I do not remember seeing that previously. Do you remember the VRR menu settings being there before?

I think Xbox will always be ahead of Sony when it comes to computer specs because of Microsoft. I also think Microsoft learned not to get too far ahead of themselves with computer specs. That's what caused the glorious ring of death for the 360.

Oh? Perhaps they rolled it out since I was last online.
Edit: just checked my PS5. Not seeing it. Are you sure you aren’t looking at your display’s settings?
Double edit: it’s there. Let the testing commence.
Triple edit: can’t play online with it. Bleeeeeeh.

Can someone with more tech savvy than me help? I checked my monitor. I’ve had it a couple years. It’s an Asus vg279. Looks like it’s only giving me 60hz. It says it’s capable of 144hz online and it says it’s a 1.4 HDMI. I’m using “FPS mode.”
Can I get 120hz out of this? What settings do I need to do. I checked the PS5 setting and it’s auto for 120hz. I checked the output (on the PS5 screen) and it’s only giving me 60hz. PS5 is also telling me my monitor can’t do VRR.
Anyone help is needed from someone? Please? Can I get to 120hz? What are the optimal settings for my monitor and PS5?

It’s been that way for Xbox for a year with VRR. I don’t know why they would cater to a 10 year old console. PS5 owners, including myself, will be furious if it isn’t played at 120hz online.
It really would be a kick to the [censored].

I like how 'an.us' is censored but not [censored] lol
