The freeze offs are ridiculous in 22. I've had about 10 so far and only had maybe 4 the entire 21 season. Plus they took away the ability to see the opponents PCI. So far I'm giving MLBTHESHOW22 a big thumbs down until the fix a lot of stuff.

What mode?
Are you home or away?Freeze offs seem to happen in any competitive mode where you face a live opponent. Never had an issue with them in RTTS but I’ve had them plenty in Online Rated. It also does not matter home or away since 90% of them are caused by your opponent doing something to initiate the freeze during the game (using a glitch in the game to cause the freeze on purpose).
The ONLY time I’ve had a freeze off (actually had two) this year that WASN’T on purpose was the foul ball by the dugout glitch which is almost impossible to replicated and which they fixed already anyway.
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be high on SDS radar to fix since all they really care about is DD and the money grab that packs come with.

Dont think SDS has the ability to adress freeze offs.That is 99 % chance a PlayStation Issue. Any game is easily manipulated when you have the ability to zap in and out of it at will and run other applications. Like PlayStation
