I’m having trouble with rookie moments daily events.

Mostly the following:
Hit a home run
Get extra bases
Get four bases in a gameI’ve tried some of these for like 20 min plus and no dice. I couldn’t hit a home run even with Babe Ruth.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I don’t usually swing on time but every three at bats I get a good good or perfect swing. I try to hit the ball with the top part or middle of the PCI when they want a Homer and it’s a fly to centerfield nearly every time.

Switch to directional hitting for moments and use the power button to swing. Sometimes it helps to push the stick forward when swinging for HR’s, depending on the hitter.

Do this exact thing. If it doesn't pay off immediately. Just keep doing it. I only use directional on moments with HRs or XBHs and I just hold the stick up and swing with power.
Also, I'm guessing you're a swinger, as am I and many others. You don't need to hit every pitch. Just focus on getting a pitch in a certain area.

With zone, sit in a location and power swing.
You'll get it eventually. PCI Lock is always very friendly for moments.

I exclusively use directional hitting. For moments, if the batter has 75+ power from the same side as the pitchers throwing, I push the left stick up and use normal swing. Try to swing a bit early
If lower than 75, I push left stick up and use power swing. Again, try to swing a bit early.

I’ll add, the above is for homers and/or extra base hits. If I just need a single, I don’t move the left stick, just press normal swing button. Try to be a bit early.

Gotta be honest, I completely forgot about daily moments ever since I hit the xp cap earlier this week.

Even though this should be a No-Brainer & No One has even said this. But apart from Directional Hitting & Influencing Fly Ball. Make sure your swing time is close to perfect & on a pitch within the zone, not border line paint strikes. Best to just take pitches & wait for the right one to swing on. even if you get K'd on border framed pitches or walked. You will repeat that less times then swing at bad pitches with bad timing.
