Charge the mound and empty the benches

We definitely need the ability to charge the mound. Would greatly improve the game.

MLB will never allow a game to promote fighting in their sport. There was a game a long time ago that had charging the mound but never saw it since and that was a long time ago. Doubt you'll ever see it again.
That being said, how would that improve the game?

It’d add to the realism and something different in the game. We can already throw at batters. Why not?

Because MLB does not want it in the game. It is probably out of SDS's hands.

Didn't say it was .just was saying you could in that baseball game ..I think it was the only one

MLB slugfest one of the greatest games ever shaped my childhood lmao.. I used to run tournaments at my local boys and girls club and you could charge the mound after being beaned once in a while.

Well it would depend on what value it would add.
The people asked for play challenges. It added zero value.
The people asked for rain delays. It added negative value.If it’s not implemented in a meaningful way and ends up being an inconvenience that you just want to skip, it’s not adding value.
My point? Be careful what you wish for

I really dont think charging mound adds anything. Actually I think it just slows the game down needlessly. Its not like hockey, where fighting is an integral part of the sport. I think,they could do a benches clearing animation after excessive hbp, but that's all I wouldn't mind seeing

You could charge the mound and benches would clear in MVP baseball 2005. MLB licensed too. Boy times have changed. Might be cool for franchise,like MVP baseball was, but not anywhere else
