It’s so easy to tell who likes this gameplay because it helps them win games. The game is bad yet players defend it by insulting the players who don’t like it. Easy to tell who they make the game for every year.
Defend the game when an image or video clip gets shared that shows how shady it is.

Ton of games that are worse. This isn't even the worst edition of MLB The Show. That would be 18. From the middle pci popups to the exchanges and to the all immortal lineups.
I still believe most issues are server/connection related and will continue to be. I don't get super competitive any more which really helps.

I will say they took a huge step back with contact swing checks and being able to foul off anything a foot below or inside/outside of the zone . I would be hopeful of a patch but history says once they start patching hitting mechanics the game goes further downhill.

Exchanges were so ignorant. I spent more time buying thousands of hats off the market than actually playing the game.

So I just got to 50 wins (50-18) and if people were using Contact Swing against me then I didn’t notice. I did one time run a pitch count to 18 with foul offs but all with “X” and eventually struck out because I couldn’t stop laughing.

I'm on the verge of doing so too. I get constructive criticisms but the hyberbole and and exaggeration of a statement like "The Worst game Ever Made" is a bit much.

I'm on the verge of doing so too. I get constructive criticisms but the hyberbole and and exaggeration of a statement like "The Worst game Ever Made" is a bit much.

Those exchanges and souvenirs might have been the worst thing I've seen since 17. Immortals meant you saw the same lineups every game. I love that they are slow playing the 99's now. Tons of lineup diversity I'm seeing which is enjoyable also.

Laughable hyperbole.
But I won't play online anymore. Things have gotten pretty bad in some instances. Oh well, I'll enjoy single player stuff. Maybe get back into online later on.

Is this how my opponents are getting check swings on nearly every swing they hold up on?
