I think yadi's first ballot. Sports writers love him (who doesn't) and he played his whole career in stl. Carrer .280 hitter, 2k hits, career 42 WAR, all at catcher.

I think the only one of those who is in question for being a first ballot HoFer is Yadi, but I think he gets in at some point. Personally I think he is a first ballot pick, but I’m also a Cardinals fan and am biased.

Miggy is first ballot for sure, the others could be dicey, baseball writers seem to have extremely high standards. If Miggy isn’t first ballot we riot!.

I should have worded it differently. I think miggy and pujols should be first ballot. I was just making the case as to why I think yadi should too.
I think they drag their feet for a year on buster.

Miggy and Pujols are both 100% without a doubt 1st ballot. The voters are notoriously harsh on catchers so I don't think either Yadi or Posey are 1st ballot.(For reference Piazza is the greatest hitting catcher ever and was 4th ballot)

You must have missed the name Pujols in the list. He is a definite first ballot. Pujols has the best case of those four by a fairly large margin. Miggy definitely deserves it also but Pujols is the most definite of those four.

While I agree, Miggy is probably closer to Pujols in the voters eyes than you might think. If Pujols retired in 2011, he's in undisputed Goat territory. The second half of his career has actively hurt his legacy overall. After Miggy's prime was over he has just kind of been league average and injury plagued. Pujols has played 7 below average years of baseball. Like I said I agree that Pujols is the most likely of these 4 though

All four are first ballot. All of them have the resume in my opinion but more importantly as we are seeing all of them are liked by the voters.
