From my own feedback, I’m convinced Contact swing combined with having the outer PCI is the cause. Hitting feels very cheesy this year.
Played a few games with Timing….it’s going to plague this game this year. Try it out if anyone is curious.
Whichever the underlying problem(s) might be, the game in it's current state is just not gonna cut it. I came to realize that after 1 day of playing, other people did too. I am 100% convinced that if things stay this way, a lot of people who are still optimistic will come around in a few months from now.
I agree with everything you have said so far. I’ve brought forward some of the same issues but don’t have your demeanor so I get blasted. At the end of all the debating…the hitting simply needs a major overhaul one of these years. I have my suspicions on why they insist on leaving it this way.
You didn't get blasted for your opinions themselves. You got blasted because you failed to respect anyone else's opinions. There is a difference
I’m not gonna respect someone that immediately comes onto a post I made and starts disrespecting me first, while contributing nothing to the topic of the post instead of “you just suck” or “conspiracy theorist” or “don’t blame the game” or “git gud” or “this is an alt account” or “your an idiot” or “here we go again” or “you don’t count”…why would I respect someone who hasn’t shown the same to me? The complaint threads are immediately hijacked by the same group of members and it’s been happening for years…unless your Raes. Go talk to the hijacker’s about respect please.
People tried to speak to you with respect at first and you flipped out and bombarded people with questions that weren't their responsibility to answer. You earn respect it's not just given. In my opinion you have earned none, Raes' has earned respect because he makes good articulate points about things and can actually step back and admit when he was wrong about something. A trait I have yet to see from you
Not to mention the fact its coming from an obvious alternate account doesn't help the fact either. Making another account to post because presumably because his other account would be recognized in a negative way, and then doing these things definitely doesn't earn respect

Actually I just don't like guys that enjoy hitting women, which isn't debatable, the guys hits women and enjoys it. So if that's who you defend then you're not much of a man yourself. After this sequence, I gave up 2 run shot. It's impossible to strike people out. Note that almost all of these pitches were changeup and sliders and the timing of my opponent was "very early" on almost all of them. This is just one example, you'll experience them yourselves I'm sure.
This is why I tend to hold off on online play until about June/July. The game is always unbalanced early on, at least from my experience. Can’t we just get a carbon copy of ‘17?
Oh man is miss that game, despite its flaws. That was the last game that was actually good imo.
I could t agree more!!! I’ll take ‘17 and ALL ITS FLAWS, over every game since!!

You know when there's a big bug or grief from the community they are working on it from experience, but for the newbies it's maddening. At least address the fact that next patch won't fix this or that, but the one after that or ASAP we will deploy a fix. But, crickets.

Don’t get me wrong just because we have come to expect it doesn’t make it right, it is just the way it is with SDS.

Pitching a foot and a half inside and it’s just foul foul foul foul. No fun, zero balance again, I’d actually say this is worse than 18. In 18 the ball had to be within a few inches of the zone. I can’t even punish guys for swings over a foot inside. And it’s not a 1 off, it’s 12 pitch at bats with 10 fouls.
The constant tweaks and changes to make online play fun for everyone has broken there game, and offline it might be the best it’s ever been.

The problem is yes, they need to communicate better with the community, but they need to be better at fixing stuff during the games cycle instead of over-correcting it in the next game. They probably do listen to the community, and unpopular opinion, maybe too much so. The gameplay in 22 is a direct result of complaints about pitching being too OP last year. They made it easier to hit, but nerf exit velocities so its not too easy. Just my 2 cents

The game will be tolerable come June/July as always, it’s not right but it’s what we got so what can we do?. My contribution is to not buy stubs until I do feel the game has been fixed, they will not finesse me this year, as much as I do want Moose.
