Well someone went in and twice bought almost all the cards and quickly sold them all. This created a significant variance between the two prices. He only got burned on the outliers, like the 125k bid. Majority of buy nows were 350 - 380 and the sell nows were 320 - 330. Now because of what he did it is 450 versus 360. So if he bought 20 Trouts for for about 365 each he can now sell for and average of 450 and make 800k. Takes stubs to make stubs. And he clearly has a pile.

I guess so. If you have enough stubs to corner the market then I guess it could be done. But if you have that many stubs to begin with then why would you need to?
And I guess that brings it full circle back to sites that sell stubs
It kind of requires that the card does not have a lot of listings on the market in the first place.

Paying for stubs, even at a discount, is a waste of money in my opinion. I am certain this guy was probably either transferring to another account or helping a few friends to build up stub balance.

I like the showzone alot, but the mere existence of that website cut profits in half. I really can't say I'm too mad that the people that use the show zone to find profits are thrown off
The only issue with showzone when selling is almost immediately you're undercut by bots, and then idiots who immediately jump the queue by doubling the bid on buy orders

I was storing stubs on Trout. Put in four bids for 200k. Two went through and I sold one for 388k. So essentially I was able to get Trout for 50,800.
Curious if you got banned or not.

I was wondering the same last night about blindrhino when I saw a wave of posts about people getting banned. I'll start printing the "Release the Rhino" shirts just in case.

I flip even more shady items than Trout though lol. I've never bought/sold stubs through 3rd parties. Keep checking my account to make sure I'm not banned. Just finished live series a couple days ago.

Not at all. I stopped flipping for the day because something felt off. I locked in all the live series and called it a day.

Not sure what they could ban me for. A lot of people put in low bids as a way of storing stubs. Sure it's premature when I'm not near 5 million but I use it as a way of limiting how much I can flip each day. I didn't expect Trout to go through twice and I did what anyone would do if they accidently bought two. I sold one.
