It was a big selling point that you'd be able to have night games in your created stadium. Anyone else finding this isn't the case?
I've been playing night games in both the stadiums I created.

Are you talking about online H2H, because that isn't allowed this year. Apparently it has to do with people creating stadiums insufficient lighting.

SHOT TO THE HEART....I'm crushed... only reason I was looking forward to it was to construct beautiful night stadiums to use in H2H....oh well.
The insufficient lighting shouldn't be an issue. You can have zero lights and the field is still lit up perfectly.
I made one stadium with no lights, or any other props except for one large scoreboard. I use this to play at 7pm in Oct. The field is lit up perfectly, but there is absolutely no other distractions and the ball is clearly visible at all times with the virtual black batter's eye surrounding the ballpark.

They haven't officially announced why night games aren't allowed H2H, that was the speculation.
