Benq for about $250-275
Yes, sir. Benq offers some of the lowest input lag around. I believe mine averages at 10ms input lag.

I have been playing The Show for years. It is really the only video game I play other than maybe a few COD battles with the boys sometimes. I've been playing on a TV, but I am noticing the input lag big time now.
I thought it was a joke since last year I went 12-0 in BR and made WS, but this year... I can't touch a fastball yet I feel like I am on time.
So... What monitors do you suggest? Nothing too cheap. Nothing too expensive. Something nice in the middle for around $200-$400 maybe?
Thanks
Have you tried switching your TV to "game mode" (if possible) it lowers the graphics just a little and greatly reduces input lag.

Tv to game mode, mine has 14ms lag in game mode so comparable to monitors and I get to enjoy the big screen

I play on a 35 inch t.v on game mode for years now. Just curious how do you even check how much ms lag you have? I’m clueless when it comes to these things such as input lag.

I was in the same boat as you. I finally gave in and bought a monitor just a few days ago and couldn’t be happier! I bought this Samsung monitor from walmart for 159.99. Highly recommend it. I went on a 13 game win streak in the event after I got the monitor. You will have to give it about 24 hours though. It takes time adjusting from tv to monitor. You will find yourself swinging early on pitches instead of late.

No one has mentioned this and I’m frankly quite surprised. There’s multiple types of monitors each with pros and cons. Plus what’s happening to the market right now.
Tn panel has poor color contrast, bad viewing angles but the best input lag and grey blacks
Ips monitors have the better colors, not as good blacks and decent input lag, this is what I use
Va monitor have very good blacks but exhibit some ghosting on fast moving images, they also display really good color like ips doesBuying a monitor is a big purchase. If your only going to use it to play the show then sure get a tn panel. If your going to be watching movies and stuff don’t buy a Tn panel.
My issue with this right now is that next gen everything is going to be 4k and to get a decent 4k monitor your gonna spend like $350. I absolutely would not buy a 1080p monitor right now if your gonna get a ps5 at launch. The new system should be more then able to play the show at 4k 60fps. I mainly play shooter games on pc, that’s the only reason I have a 1080p monitor and it’s a 144hz one. For open world games I switch displays to my 4k tv and use a controller.
Do your research on this, don’t just ask for a suggestion as you might get bad info. Not saying anyone here has done that but there is a ton or differences with monitors. Feel free to take what I said with a grain of salt, I don’t mind but maybe this will help someone later on that finds this thread looking for a monitor.
