This is awesome. Obviously Pujols is not an impact player but he, Waino and Molina can lead this team and who knows, maybe that's the coaching staff someday.

Still crushed lefties last year. I know he is back in the NL and my team, The Astros are in the other league, but I never feel safe knowing Pujols is still out there. Gave us hell in the 2000's. Probably my most respected player ever. I feared him like La Russa feared Berkman in the 2000's lol.

I have some mixed feelings.
First will be that it will be great to see him have his final year in St Louis and be able to go out with Molina and Wainwright. It is a great PR move. In terms of putting butts in the seats this year this will definitely help. Even I want to get to a game this year to see Wainwright pitch to Molina. Pujols is an added bonus. They should also be able to roll out merchandise that will more than make up for the salary.
But he is using up a roster spot that may have been better served with a younger, more versatile player or another pitcher since they have had two injuries already in Spring Training.
But now I have to get the game since it may be the last time Molina, Wainwright and Pujols are all in the game for many years to come.

I really want to see Molina play before he retires, so I have recently been thinking about taking a quick trip to either Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or Milwaukee to see the Cards play this year. Adding Pujols makes it an unmissable 2-for-1 and that pretty much confirms that I will indeed be taking that trip. Let’s go, Pujols!!
(Btw I have no interest in going to St. Louis for any reason. I would say “no offense,” but that would be a lie. I want everyone from St. Louis to take offense and then to humbly and honestly acknowledge that your city is a murder pit and should never be visited by anyone ever under any circumstance.)

Milwaukee isn’t a bad place to see a game, it’s easy to get to and park and you know there won’t be rain delays or postponements. I got tickets to see the Cards there in June. Got 2 tickets first row behind the Cards bullpen and parking for under $68.

I've heard good things about "Mee-lee-wah-kay," which is Algonquin for "the good land."
(Old people like me will appreciate this reference)

As Kris Bryant and everyone who has been there says, STL is boring.
